Today I had a full trailer. 4 Gypsy Vanners and a donkey. Donkey made sure I earned that money today😅 first she didn’t want to load and when I got to our destination she refused to unload😂

Busy days like this are exhausting but I sure do love getting to haul some pretty cool passengers. 🐴❤️

🎉 What a sweet way to celebrate a FIRST birthday! 🐴🎂💕

Today we had the pleasure of hauling Beth and Penny out for a very special 1st birthday party, where they spent the day giving pony rides and making memories with some adorable little riders!

A huge thank you to this wonderful family for inviting Betsy Acres to be part of such a special milestone. Watching the kids smile, laugh and meet the horses is always our favorite part of what we do.

A special shoutout to Kim and Christine for all their help today! We couldn’t do these events without an amazing team.

Because I haven’t learned a thing and I don’t listen I bough this girl this week. This sweet baby had multiple abscesses in her front feet. Overgrown feet. Obviously was extremely underweight, and the worst part? They rode her like this at the sale. This girl came out on her best behavior giving her all. I had big plans for her. She was going to be so loved and pampered. However, she didn’t make it. Her body gave up and she laid down and didn’t get back up. Why do I still feel the guilt and such heaviness in my heart when I know we were giving her our all? She didn’t even make it to our farm before she gave up. She did however receive the best care, food and love the last week of her life. I hope she went knowing her worth and how much we were willing to do to give her the best life. This life isn’t for the weak but I’ll do it all over again the next chance I have. I know I can’t save them all but I’ll save the ones I can.
Rest easy sweet girl. I hope you’re finally at peace🫶🏼
