Old Baldy Adult Education is excited to announce a CDL class! Participants will receive comprehensive theory and driving instruction through Bulldog Buslines. Jeramy Rice, a certified instructor, will be leading the course and providing the bus for training and testing hours.

Students will need to pass a physical examination (approximately $150) and obtain a CLP (Commercial Learner’s Permit, costing around $65-70). The class is expected to include roughly 20-25 hours of classroom instruction and 10-15 hours of driving practice, totaling around 30-40 hours, depending on individual skill levels.

The course fee is set at $500, which covers all necessary instructional materials, driving training hours, and equipment usage for testing.

Participants who successfully complete the course, acquire the appropriate licensure, and pass a background check can receive reimbursement of up to $100 per trip, in addition to driver pay, for up to five trips until the class cost is fully recouped.

First Class is next Wednesday April 23rd in the Library Classroom at 6 pm!

With the construction starting in HWY 287 the Radarsburg and Deep Creek buses will be delayed in the afternoons. We are unsure how long the delays will be and how many days they will be impacting the bus routes. If and when we have more information we will pass it on. The school is aware of the delays.
