This year was definitely a wild ride. We couldn't be happier or more appreciative for all of the work and the fantastic customers we have met and been able to service this year. We've lost some great friends that we'll never forget and met new ones that have changed our lives. Hopefully 2025 will be an even more impressive year for all of us. Thank you, we wish you all a happy and healthy new year.

We lost a great man this week. Our friend and long time employee, Joseph Greisch, passed away on Tuesday 10/29 and I just don't know what to say.
Joe has worked with me on and off since around 2003 or so. He was one of the yard guys at the old Typhoon marine and he had seen me show up at the marina with a 45 sonic on the trailer with my first freightliner and that was it, he was hooked, he wanted to haul boats. A few weeks later he calls me and leaves a message saying hey Dave the is is Joe the guy that runs the lift at Typhoon. I want a change in my life and I'm hoping you can give me a job hauling boats otherwise I think I'm going to join the service. Honestly I couldn't remember who this kid was that's asking for a job. A week or so goes by and he calls again but this time I answer the phone he tells me that he had quit the marina and he wanted to call one more time and ask again. I was on a trip down to North Carolina and there was a noreaster moving in at home so the public was in a panic to get the boats out before the storm. I figured well Joe, if you think your up to this, go see my wife, get the keys and pull these seven boats out of the water and haul them home for these customers before the storm. Joe got it done, I got home and went around inspecting his work. That was it, he did great, all the customers praised him and he was addicted to the gratitude our customers gave him. Joe continued to learn and haul boats around with us for the next 20 something years and honestly I couldn't see doing it with out him. We'll definitely miss him and forever hold a place in our hearts for him.
Joe's services will be this Sunday November 3.
