A woman came into Safe Ship Tomah recently and tried our alkaline water for the very first time. Like so many of us, she had been drinking water sold in plastic bottles — who knows how long ago it was actually bottled, what the real pH level even is, and we have all heard the growing stories about microplastics seeping into everything we consume. 😬

Happy Sunday, friends! ☀️ Hope everyone is soaking up this weekend after the storms we had this week!

For me it was drinking BETTER water — not more of it. I actually already drank plenty of water throughout the day. The problem was the kind of water I was drinking.

I started with tap water — but if you live around here you know exactly what I mean when I say our city water actually has a smell when it comes out of the faucet. 😬 So I switched to plastic bottled water. Then I started learning about the negatives of drinking from plastic — how long that water had been sitting in those bottles and what it was absorbing along the way. That was enough for me! So I upgraded to one of those services that delivers 5-gallon jugs to your door.

I thought I was doing great!

But then I learned what I was still missing — and it changed everything.

Alkaline water works differently. It hydrates at the cellular level and helps your body stay balanced instead of constantly fighting acidity. And once I understood that, I didn't just want it for myself — I wanted my employees at Safe Ship to have access to it too. We spend a lot of hours in that store and everyone deserves to feel their best. 💪

As a business dedicated to reliability and efficiency, Safe Ship makes it a point to recycle boxes, packing materials, and coolers on a large scale. By doing so, we are able to keep costs down and pass the savings on to our customers.
Our commitment to the community extends beyond our customer base, as we also donate supplies to fellow small businesses.

We have recently received a request for egg cartons and flats and are seeking donations from those who can spare these items.
Donations can be made during our business hours.

What a week it has been — between the rain and the storms I think we've all had enough of the gray skies for a while! 😅 But good news — the weather report says we're clear all the way through the weekend and no rain again until possibly Tuesday. I'll take it! ☀️
