For 72 hours, inspectors across the United States, Canada, and Mexico will be conducting one of the largest commercial vehicle enforcement operations in North America.
This is not just scale houses.
Expect:
• Random roadside inspections
• Mobile enforcement units

• Increased DOT presence on major freight corridors

The State of Georgia signed a 60-day suspension of the state’s excise tax on motor fuel sales into law. All motor carriers who are licensed with IFTA and traveling in Georgia are exempt from motor fuel excise tax from March 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., through May 19, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. This exemption will affect the filing of your 1Q and 2Q 2026 IFTA tax returns if you traveled in Georgia.
