Brake Safety Week officially starts today!

This year’s focus is on the condition of brake drums and rotors. Take time during every pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspection to check your brake components for cracks, damage, or excessive wear. Address any issues before hitting the road and help keep yourself and everyone around you safe.

Proper securement protects you and everyone else on the road.
Accidents with coils are dangerous and can be costly. Be on top of coil securement, binder and chain ratings, and proper load handling. Before leaving the shipper, make sure to double-check your load for proper securement, and send photos of your secured load through Samsara. We appreciate all that you do!

Smith, CEO and co-founder of PS Logistics, was installed as ATA chairman on July 1 after years of service on the Association’s board and to the ATA Comp Fund. He sat down with Alabama Trucking News yesterday to discuss his background, his growth as an industry leader, and his new role as a figurehead for Alabama’s trucking industry.

Jerrell joined HS Express at the beginning of the year and quickly set the standard for professionalism and safety. In just a few short months, he has already earned a clean inspection and completed all of his DFG training for the year.
