This is a virtual event, so participants can complete their 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon from anywhere during October 9–15, in honor or memory of someone special.

Every one of these medals will represent a story, a life remembered, and a family supported. We’re honored to have people participate from wherever they are.

Please consider joining us for Walk With Grace Presents: Graceful Connections, an opportunity to bring together those with lived experiences and the professionals who serve our community for meaningful conversation, connection, and collaboration!

We want to hear from mothers and families about what you needed, what helped, and where you experienced gaps in support!

We want to hear from doulas, clinicians, practitioners, and other professionals about the resources currently available, the challenges you see, and how we can better work together!

Most importantly, we want to brainstorm together about what MORE we can do to better serve mothers and families impacted by pregnancy and infant loss in our community!!!

With maternal mental health crises continuing to make the headlines, it’s so very important to remember that her experience is very real. She’s being honest about what she’s experiencing. And it’s hell.

That apprehension YOU feel when she discloses how she feels, if safe enough to disclose it, pay attention to that. It’s totally normal to not know what to do or how to respond. This requires a lot of training, clinical competency, and confidence… a huge area of opportunity for growth in our medical systems which need support. But whatever you choose to do, do not dismiss, avoid, or ignore it.

Couldn’t be more thankful for husbands, partners, providers, and friends who are choosing to lean IN these days and make the phone calls on behalf of their wives. The ones who believe her. You’re breaking cycles. 💟
