A big congratulations to Debbie and Mike on completing their Camino!

Starting in Porto, they followed the beautiful Portuguese Coastal Route all the way to Santiago de Compostela, and what an adventure they had along the way!

That's the thing about the Camino. You never quite know what each day will bring, but the unexpected moments often become the best stories and memories.

Four friends, countless miles, and one unforgettable journey!

There’s nothing quite like walking into the Cathedral Square in Santiago de Compostela after days of walking the Camino. The tired legs, the laughter, the challenges, and all those little moments along the way suddenly become part of an incredible memory.

You start the day thinking about where you need to be.

There’s a big difference between seeing the Camino and actually walking it.

At Hike the Way, we believe the Camino should be experienced on foot — walking from one accommodation to the next, following the ancient path, passing through villages, forests, vineyards and little corners you might otherwise miss.

And where you stay matters.

It’s October… which means it’s time to start planning your 2027 Camino!

Next year is a Holy Year in Santiago, and we’re already seeing accommodations fill much earlier than usual. In fact, some of our Camino routes are already nearing capacity for May.

If walking the Camino has been on your list for 2027, now is the time to start thinking about your route and dates, especially if you’re hoping to travel in May or September.

The Camino takes a little planning, but that first step toward Santiago can start today.
