The traveling nurse is all packed up on this chilly January morning. He’s heading to Cary, North Carolina. I’m sad to have him leave, but I’ve already booked a trip to NC in February. And we are already planning on going to The Biltmore. Which has been on my bucket list for a long time. And, of course, hitting the coast will happen. Dustin will be holding down the fort here in Houston and keeping Freckles company. The first contract of 2023 is beginning and who knows what adventures will happen along the way!

Ready to head back home…. Will miss my bestie, of course, but not the temps… ready for that Texas warmth!

And the first adventure of the year. We are flying back to Chicago for a few days. My bff daughter, Brittney is getting married. So, of course, we can’t miss that. Excited to see everyone, but not for the temps. Leaving Houston’s warm 70’s to the Chicago chilly 30’s… I had to dig out a coat… yuck!
