🚦 The most important thing on the road isn't getting there faster. It's getting there safely.

That text can wait. That notification can wait. But your attention behind the wheel? It needs to stay right where it belongs. 👀

📵 Put the phone down. Keep your eyes up. Get everyone home safely.

🎃 A little extra caution can make a BIG difference!

Halloween is just around the corner, and that means more little ghosts, goblins, and superheroes may be out and about!

▪️ Slow down in residential neighborhoods. Children can dart into the street unexpectedly, especially around parked cars.

▪️Watch for little pedestrians. Kids in costumes may have limited visibility or be distracted by the excitement.

▪️Put your phone away. Even a quick glance can mean missing a child crossing the street.

▪️Be extra careful at intersections. Kids may cross between cars or outside designated crosswalks.

▪️Use your headlights early. Make it easier to see pedestrians during dusk and early evening.

▪️Never assume a child sees you. Make eye contact when possible and stop well before crosswalks.

▪️Take extra care when backing up. Children may be difficult to see behind a vehicle, especially in driveways.

At Leesel Transportation, safety is always our priority. Let's all do our part to keep our communities safe this Halloween and every day!

The days are getting shorter, which means some students may be walking to or waiting for the bus in low-light conditions.

🚌 Wear bright or reflective clothing when possible.
🔦 Carry a flashlight when it’s dark.
👀 Stay alert around driveways, parking lots, and roadways.
🚏 Wait in a safe, well-lit area for your bus.

A little extra visibility can make a big difference when the sun goes down earlier.

Stay safe and be seen this fall! 🍁

Today, we pause to honor the resilience and strength shown on September 11th. As we reflect on that day, let us unite in remembrance of those we lost and celebrate the courage of those who came together in the face of adversity. Together, we build a brighter future. 🌟

𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤-𝐭𝐨-𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥: 𝐎𝐥𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞! 📚✏️

Before school supplies came in a million different colors, characters and styles, there were the classics.

Big Chief tablets. Crayola crayons. Elmer’s glue. Metal pencil boxes. Mechanical pencils. Those little bottles of glue that somehow ended up everywhere. And if you had a Trapper Keeper or a cool pencil case? You were READY. 😂

Which one of these brings back the biggest school-day memory for you?

The first day of school comes with enough to remember. 🎒

New teachers. New routines. New schedules. And for many families, a new bus route or pickup time.

Before that first bell rings, take a few minutes to make sure your child knows where to go, when to be ready, and how to stay safe around the bus. A little preparation can make that first ride - and every ride after it - go a whole lot smoother. 🚌💛
