Tenino Arts and The Tenino Stone Carvers are partnering together to bring master stone carvers from the Northwest Stone Sculptors Association, fine art🎨 and fine craft from local artisans, live music🎶 with Ross Robinson, Charles W Valentine, and The Kitchen Sink Experience and food!😋

The ground breaking ceremony for the VFW memorial today was well attended. Thanks to all who came out. VFW Post 5878 is still holding a fundraiser to help pay for construction costs, including selling paving bricks for the memorial for $100 and honor-donor bricks for $1,000 to help cover construction costs. VFW Post 5878 is located at 285 Sussex Ave. E. in downtown Tenino. For more information, call 360-264-5420.

The Dean Of Dust, and Master carver Keith Phillips held court this weekend at Arbutus Folk School. Students attended a four day class, receiving hands on instructions on relief carving, using a block of Tenino Sandstone. Each student received a certificate of completion at the end.
