Hello again...Yes Cod End mooring rentals will continue this summer (2020) and will still be marked by the same buoy (big bright yellow lobster buoy, not a ball and will have "Cod End Rental" written on the buoy). I will come around and collect the $25.00 nightly rental fee. I come in and out of the town landing and my contact information will be posted there at the town's bulletin board at the public landing.
I hope that you have a chance to get out on the water this summer and let the sun and the wind and the ocean refresh you...

Hello all, First and foremost I would like to say that I hope that you are all healthy and managing as well as you can during this pandemic...may we all weather this for the highest good...
I do plan to rent Cod End moorings again this summer (2020) in Tenants Harbor. I will post more particulars soon...

Ok I'm working on boats instead of writing posts...So I guess it's that time for an update.
I will be renting Cod End moorings again this summer (2019), the bouys will still be bright yellow marked "Cod End Rental" and they will still be big lobster bouys ( not round balls/balloons)...
You can come into Tenants Harbor and pick up one of my moorings and I will come around in the late afternoon or sometimes the next morning and collect the $25 mooring fee.
I can be reached on the VHF channel #9 (call Cod End) or by phone at 207-596-6317 (call or text).

Thank you to all who came into Tenants Harbor this summer and made use of Cod End rental moorings. it is always a pleasure to reconnect with many boaters whom I have seen over the years and to welcome new ones.

Looks as though the fog has been trying to lift. Let's hope so.
If you are coming into Tenants Harbor and are looking for a mooring, you can come in to the mid-harbor and the inner harbor area and pick up a Cod End mooring buoy. The buoys are bright yellow and are marked "Cod End Rental" (big lobster buoys with a stick and not round balloons)...
I come around in my skiff to collect the $25 nightly fee.

I come in and out from the Tenants Harbor town landing and not from the former Cod End shoreside location.
Lots of businesses within easy access in Tenants Harbor...and not the crowds...

It's St. George Days weekend...Dance party tonite from 6:30-8:30 with my brother DJ Dan and Malia Dell and more...On Saturday, there will be numerous events including a book sale, a half mile run, a parade, etc. and fireworks at dusk...On Sunday, there will be a co****le tournament...
So plenty to do and see in St. George this weekend...

I'd like to thank the Friendship sloop fleet and the Eastern Yacht Club fleet for visiting Tenants Harbor recently. It's a pleasure to see a wide variety of vessels and have an opportunity to speak with boaters from all over.
The Friendship sloops will be gathering in Rockland starting today for 3 days of races and other activities. There will be an opportunity to view the sloops up close and in a parade of sail. For more information, visit their website at

I come and go from the town landing these days as Cod End has no shoreside facility anymore. I can be reached via my phone (207-596-6317) and also on the VHF channel #9 (my contact information is also posted on a poster on the Tenants Harbor town dock bulletin board).
Tenants Harbor is still a great harbor and has many things available close by.

Well we're getting some beautiful weather now. Boats are going in the water steadily. The season looks to be off to a good start. I hope to see you in Tenants Harbor this summer! Enjoy the warmth and beauty of spring...
