I get a lot of rude comments when I post paid employment advertising. Typically it's from some content creator or an individual with little to nothing to do with the transportation arena, but rather internet trolls or online bullies whose aim is to create discord or discontent. This just distracts from my goal which is to offer good jobs to local men and women and putting food on the table for local families.

See below for my response AND extra salary info re: new hires. Multiple positions available with excellent opportunities and pay! Dedicated weekly starting salaries with great starting pay, huge upside potential for extra pay dependent on driver motivation level and home nightly and paid weekly. We are not seasonal and our salary positions pay each and every week all year long every year! Salary means you can depend on your paycheck and the amount, because you know what's going in EVERY week...bar NONE! This locks in your extra peace of mind and allows you to drive worry free and enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Michigan Indiana and Ohio exclusively. We are looking for hard chargers who want to make money. If that is you, apply today and send your info to [email protected]. Dedicated workers can blow the $75,000 out of the water but it's up to you to put in the work. Got what it takes to succeed? 🤷‍♂️

"Sure thing Craig. Since your profile lists you as a "digital creator," and I don't see truck driver listed anywhere I can assume that's more of a hobby than a career for you. Nonetheless; since you feel the need to comment with a flippant, smart-ass response on advertising I pay for, I can definitely address 75,000 annual is the STARTING salary. The extra thousand is there for you or anyone else inclined to work for it once hired into the position. 75,000 is the starting salary for only Monday through Friday and weekend work pays EXTRA on top of that. Motivated drivers and hard chargers make more and quite a bit more than the $75,000 annually. The top range of the salary is highly dependent on the driver and their motivation level once hired onto our company. Most of this information is covered during our interview process. However; we are not typically in the practice of hiring digital creators to drive our semis, so I highly doubt you and I will work together anytime soon. For anybody else reading this that would like information about the position, please feel free to message me directly and I can answer any other questions you have also with regards to the salary being low or out of range, you are not operating from a place of facts but rather mistaken opinion. Let me drop some facts for you. The average salary in the United States for a semi driver is $50,440 annually. We are paying a minimum of 50% greater than that salary range just for our drivers to start and that only covers Monday through Friday with their weekend work paying in excess of the $75,000. If you want to do the public math on that, it comes out to 29 to $30 per hour to start for local work with drivers home EVERY night. You really think there's a better starting position out there than that for local drivers? Home every night? Point me to it and I'm going to quit my job and apply there because it doesn't exist and surely not as a handout that they offer every new driver onboarding their company. Drivers must put in the time and achieve seniority before they are paid at the highest level allowable for the position. This is as it should be because it allows companies to incentivize and reward safe and loyal drivers. Want 100,000 per year? It's there, you just have to work for it and we don't just blindly hand it out to every single driver who walks in the door nor does any transportation company. We also don't have the resources of larger carriers such as Schneider JB Hunt or Walmart. What we do is for a tiny local veteran owned and operated company, is we come damn close and as close as we possibly can to the pay offered by those larger companies. $30 an hour is very good starting pay and if you compare the job requirements it elevates it to excellent starting pay. It's also the most that we can afford to pay as a smaller company without the margins or Insurance exemptions or any of the other corporate bargaining powers or exclusive benefits of the larger carriers. We are the equivalent of your mom and pop local hardware store or Cheers if you will - where everybody knows your name - at Hawkes. This is also why we offer our drivers the unique benefit of home daily on all routes across the board which is something the larger carriers will not or cannot do as well. I hope this helps illuminate the situation and the incredible opportunity a career with us provides. Thank you!"
