I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Although my blood runs Black and Gold (Go Steelers) I have made my home with Julie, my wife, a

nd 4 children here in the beautiful upstate of South Carolina. Upon completing my high school education at Mauldin High School, Mauldin S.C. It was not until the spring of 1991 that I chose to get involved with the trucking industry and began my journey in what has become the other love of my life. I have 21 years driving experience across these beautiful 48 states and have logged over 2 million accident free miles during that time frame. The trucking industry is unique and I am very proud to be a part of it. Aaron Mitchell Co-Owner

I was born in Madisonville, Kentucky before moving to South Carolina at age 15 where I continue to live today. At age 19, I became a Market Manager at Ingles Markets and continued to do that for the next 5 years before deciding to make a career change. I received my trucking certificate from Greenville Technical College in Greenville, South Carolina and I have been driving for the past two years. Going into the trucking business has been a great decision for my family and I. I have been married to Glenda Mitchell for the last 5 years and together we have three sons.

Hi y'all been a very busy week for us. Lot of breakdowns with a couple of our tractors but hopefully we have solved those issues for a while and we can stay steady rolling for a while. Aaron and I are heading out of Oregon and making our way to Salem Va for a delivery on Thursday then back to Greenville for yet another west coast run. Hope everyone has had a great Monday

Thank You for Your Sacrifice

This week we will celebrate a very special day, freedom that we all enjoy, lives lost would pave the way.

They were soldiers, young and old, a daughter or a son, a mother or a father, there were 1000's, not just one.

Into battle they would go, the enemy at hand, knowing they could loose their life, but still they took that stand.

Left their homes as you and I, to war zones far away, never to see home again, they're heroes now today.

Thank you for your sacrifice, forever you will be, the only reason that I know, I have my Liberty.

State Park Transport
Okay Facebook... Time for our contest rules that we have been telling you about. We need to blow this page out of the water so we have come up with a couple of ideas and wanted to make it a little more interesting for each of you to help us out.
We are offering to the first friend of State Park Transport to get 20 people to like our page, a $50.00 gift certificate to Red Lobster or Outback Steakhouse. We will need them to friend us as well to let us know who requested they "like" our page. That way we can keep a tally of the winner. They must let us know who suggested the page to them so that there is no confusion as to who comes out on top. I hope I have explained myself well enough for all to understand. Good luck to each of you and may the hungriest person win!

Good morning Facebook. I apologize for the delay in giving an update, but the truck had mechanical issues for a day and 1/2 in Portland and we got busy dealing with other driver issues and before I knew it the day was gone. Good news is we are back at it and I will be updating as much as possible. We hope everyone has had a good week so far. This load will take us into West Point, Mississippi for a Friday morning delivery...then a pick up close by to our drop will get us into Greenville Friday evening. We will be picking up another Saturday in Greenville and returning once again to Portland for Monday. Have a great day. We mentioned last week about a contest that we would be starting soon...I will be giving details on that later on today so check back soon.

Good afternoon Facebook land...Aaron and David have made their drop in Greenville and have picked up the load to Wilsonville, Or. They have just gotten on I 40 in N.C. and are well on their way to a delivery on Monday morning. Aaron has the wheel till 12:45 am. and the switch should be made tonight in Mt Vernon Il. David will use his experience to make it through the night hours while we all are enjoying our fluffy pillows and nestled under our blankets here at home. Safe travels and a great weekend to all!

Hi guys and girls...the switch has been made and Aaron is now the man at the wheel. David will be checking his eye lids for holes in just a bit and getting the rest he needs to take over again at 4:45 am. Aaron seems to be feeling fully revived and ready to carry the load for the next 9 and 1/2 hrs. They are about 4 and 1/2 hrs to the east of Dallas and are steadily making progress to Greenville. It looks like a 2:30 pm arrival tomorrow. The turn and burn load originally set for a Monday morning delivery in Auburn Wa. has been changed and they are now tentatively expected to arrive in Wilsonville Or. On Monday morning by 7 am pacific coast time. Hope you all have an awesome Friday evening.

Portland, Or is the final drop on this trip then it's tentatively a load to Los Angeles Ca. then a load from there to get them back to Greenville. Rainy day on the northwest coast today with temps in the upper 60's...hey...at least the windshield is bug free!

MONTANA MOUNTAIN SUMMER

SUMMER TIME HAS SETTLED IN AND SNOW BEGINS TO FADE, MOUNTAIN TOPS ARE CAPPED IN WHITE WHAT BEAUTY GOD HAS MADE.

ROLLING HILLS ARE ALL AROUND AND RIVERS CARVE THEIR WAY, EVERGREENS ON MOUNTAINSIDES, WILD HORSES OUT TO PLAY.

FOR MANY YEARS I'VE TRAVELED ALL ACROSS MONTANA'S LAND, AND NEVER WILL I TIRE OF CREATION FROM GODS HAND.

WORDS CAN'T FORM THE PICTURE IT IS SOMETHING ALL MUST SEE, BUT IF I HAD TO CHOOSE ONE THEN MAJESTIC WORKS FOR ME.

MONTANA IS MY HEAVEN IT'S A PLACE I LOVE TO BE, AND IF I DIE AND END UP HERE,WELL THAT IS FINE WITH ME.

PICTURES DON'T DO JUSTICE BUT I'LL SEND THEM JUST IN CASE, AS SOME OF YOU MAY NEVER GET TO SEE THIS AWESOME PLACE.
