I’m baaack! (Well, almost- just one more flight to go so I thought I’d get a jump before the jet lag hits!)

🇮🇸 **Iceland Recap: Day 1

After landing in Keflavik, we picked up our rental car and headed straight for one of Iceland's most iconic experiences—the **Blue Lagoon**. There really is no better way to shake off jet lag than soaking in warm, mineral-rich geothermal waters surrounded by lava fields.

Next, we stood in one of the few places on Earth where you can see the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meeting.

We wrapped up the day by checking in at the Hilton Reykjavík Nordica.
Fun fact: this is the hotel many land tours, including Adventures by Disney, Tauck, and Globus, use as their Reykjavík home base.
