Amazon DSP Delivery Operations Manager

Ugo Logistics LLC is a Delivery Service Partner with Amazon. We deliver packages the last mile to customer’s homes and businesses. You can work up to 5 days/week. We operate out of East Taunton, MA.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Operations Manager is expected to provide inspiring leadership skills.
Must possess analytical knowledge, be customer service driven, team oriented, alert, and resourceful.
Work closely with the Human Resources team in recruiting when necessary.
Help promote the company culture that encourages morale and performance.
Oversee dispatchers, drivers, fleet, and any arising issue that occurs during shift.
Have the ability to make appropriate but swift judgement without immediate counsel while documenting.
Effectively communicate with staff, dispatchers, drivers, and customers.
Provide loading information, maintenance coordination, performance counseling, and dissemination of general company news and information.
Plan and direct the ex*****on of most business, technical, and administrative functions related to successful route ex*****on.
Work to provide exceptional training while delivering results to meet critical business needs.
Have the ability to switch roles quickly and smoothly from supporting a role, leading an operation, or managing.
Must maintain the ability to dive into any problem or situation with positive resolution in mind.
Communicate effectively with teams, Human Resources Manager, management team, company staff, and owner to ensure alignment of goals and tasks, ensuring the overall success of the company’s goal.
Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills
Strong computer and communication skills
Experience communicating with diverse audiences
Candidates must be flexible to work weekends and/or evenings
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Be able to be on your feet walking and standing for long periods of time
Communicate, communicate, communicate. It involves listening and being attentive to the needs and desires of the internal and external customer.
8-10 hr shifts
Weekend availability
Assist with local dispatching needs (when required) which include :
Being a guidance for drivers, assisting with load information, and package delivery information.
Maintain email volume. Reply and/or share required information.
Compose employee schedules in the company system.
Communicate effectively across teams and leadership, ensuring alignment of goals and tasks to ensure the overall success of the program.
Update designated person on all route progression using effective communication via email, phone, and verbal skills.
Maintain a positive attitude while building a rapport with staff and developing trust of employees.
Monitors key quality metrics, and defines and implements initiatives to drive improvements, scrub Scorecard for optimum performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
Driver's License (Required)
Eligible to work in the U.S.
At least 21 years of age
Bachelor’s/Associates degree in Operations Management or related field or comparable experience (Required)
Must be able to work hard, have fun and be safe

$20 - $30 / hour or $41,600 - $62,400 / year
