Significant snow and strong winds expected Sunday. What: Total snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm leading to challenging travel conditions. Strong Southwest winds with gusts of 60 to 70 km/h possible. When: Snow will begin late tonight and taper off Sunday morning. Strong winds will begin Sunday morning and ease in the evening as winds become more northwesterly. Additional information: On Sunday morning, snow is expected to mix with or transition over to rain in most areas. If the precipitation remains as snow, then accumulations may exceed 10 cm. Local utility outages are possible. Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
