Celebrating 40 years of momentum in Downtown Tampa! At yesterday’s Tampa Downtown Partnership Annual Meeting, THEA CEO and Executive Director Greg Slater was announced as Vice Chairman for 2026–27. As Downtown Tampa continues to grow and evolve, strong connections are more important than ever. If you’re taking the Howard Frankland Bridge to access the Selmon Expressway, be aware of a crash and expect delays. Please use caution and allow extra travel time.

BREAKING: A multi-vehicle crash has shut down all southbound lanes of the Howard Frankland Bridge, causing heavy traffic delays in Tampa. 🔗 ⬇️

⚠️ Attention Selmon Customers!

The Selmon Reversible Express Lanes (REL) will have a special operating schedule for the Labor Day holiday weekend. On Monday Sept. 7th, express lanes will remain open in the eastbound direction all day to bring access into downtown Tampa and beyond. Normal operations resume on Tuesday Sept 8th. Enjoy the holiday and be safe!
