PGA was busy at the ACEC Transportation Conference! Joe Lauk moderated "Leadership Through Partnership: From Policy to Project Delivery," leading a conversation on how FDOT, ACEC FL, and industry partners are advancing Florida's transportation systems through alternate delivery programs.

Jill Lukas took part in this year’s Honor Our Heroes Memorial Walk and Run, hosted by Oldsmar Cares. We served as a silver sponsor in collaboration with All-American VFW Post 12186, which supports veterans and their families while educating and strengthening the Oldsmar community.

With 653 runners, this year marked the event’s largest race to date. We were honored to support the cause and help recognize our local heroes.

Knoxville Drainage Group Leader Richard Uptegraff, PE joined Gordon Greene, PE and Eddie Giese, PE at the 2026 TDOT-ACEC Partnering Conference in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Gordon and Eddie's presentation, “Advancing Fully Integrated Model Delivery,” highlighted best practices and lessons learned when delivering fully integrated highway 3D models from PGA’s Central Polk Parkway project. They highlighted how "TDOT is embracing many of the same advancements in project delivery.”

STEP interns Gavin Miner, Evan Recek, and Analicia Herde joined Planning Group members Katie Habgood, AICP and Gabe Gonzalez Jr, EI for a field visit to the Upper Tampa Bay Trail. This shared use path provided them a real-life example of how our planning work transforms into tangible community impacts.
