My passion for wildlife, culture, local communities and conservation have been the cornerstone of my 24 years in the travel industry. With no less than 27 trips to the continent, when planning a luxury safari experience, I am who you want in your corner! I often refer to Africa as my second home as I have traveled to the continent more than anywhere else on the planet. A few highlights of my trave

ls include meeting the iconic Masai and Samburu people of Kenya; seeing the great migration and Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania; visiting the Orthodox churches and the famous fossils of Lucy in the National Museum of Ethiopia and spending time with the mountain gorillas of Rwanda and Uganda. My experience in Southern Africa includes countless trips to such iconic destinations as South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique and Namibia. My passion for travel ignited over 25 years ago when I participated as an exchange student in a study abroad program to Northern Italy and the fire has not been quelled since. With a loyal following of longtime clients and partner travel advisors who have trusted me with every detail of their safari and travel planning, I offer each client a VIP experience. I particularly love planning honeymoons and family travel, especially multi-generational family travel, having many first-hand experiences traveling with my young daughter on half a dozen trips and safaris to both Africa and India.

Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is one of my favorite Africa wildlife organizations to support. You can adopt an orphan for as little as $50 a year, which is such a cool and educational gift for the kiddos in your life! https://www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/orphans Sheldrick Trust and the late, Dame Daphne Sheldrick, were truly pioneers in their tireless work rescuing and re-releasing orphaned animals in Kenya. I arrange for my clients visiting Kenya to visit the Nairobi nursery during either the daily noon public or private visits. I also arrange stays at their Sheldrick Trust camps for a behind-the-scenes experience seeing their reintegration units in Tsavo National Park at work. The friendliest countries in the world from all four corners of the globe...Kenya takes the No. 1 spot in the 2025 Readers' Choice Awards By Condé Nast Traveller. Travelers go for the wildlife but end up falling in love with the Kenyan people. Kenya IS the classic Out of Africa safari destination and one of my favorite destinations to plan safaris to. Truly a privilege to help plan travel to such incredible destinations including a few others on this list, ie Bhutan, Seychelles, Mauritius.

If Kenya or any of these friendliest countries is on your radar for future travel, I would love to chat and help make your travel dreams a reality.

Tomorrow marks the debut of Disneynature's Sea Lions of the Galapagos on Disney+—and I couldn’t be more excited! Disneynature consistently delivers stunning documentaries that spotlight some of the world’s most incredible wildlife hotspots, like Monkey Kingdom in Sri Lanka and African Cats set in Kenya’s Masai Mara.

Don’t sleep on this one—or on adding the Galapagos Islands to your bucket list. I was lucky enough to visit just last month, cruising through several of the islands. As an African safari planner for 25 years, my standards for wildlife destinations are pretty high—but the Galapagos completely stole my heart.

Pristine, remote, and a shining example of low-impact tourism, the experience was nothing short of spectacular. And yes—we saw penguins! A true Galapagos dream come true.

So blessed to have had the opportunity to visit the Galapagos islands last month. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is heaven on earth, pristine, beautiful and with the most incredible endemic wildlife. I have a heart for destinations where conservation is at the forefront of tourism. Galapagos islands are governed by law that supports conservation and the preservation of its beautiful but fragile ecosystem. This trip is in the lead as one of my favorite trips ever! If Galapagos is on your bucket list, I'd love to help you explore the various options for exploring the islands! If Galapagos isn't on your bucket list, it should be! Al’so the Ecuadorian people were amazing and the cuisine too!

The Lindblad / National Geographic photographer-in-residence put together this slideshow of our journey including some of his photographs and those of many of the passengers onboard. Our group seems to be featured a lot... Kind of long (grab some popcorn) but enjoy!

Just landed back in the US after the long haul flight from Cape Town. I always leave Africa with mixed emotions. In some ways it feels more like home to me than anywhere else. i ❤️🇿🇦

Jeanieji Photography is the evolution of one of my passions taking shape and coming to life. Photographing friends, family, animals both domestic and wild and so many interesting people in my 20 years in the travel world has has been a privilege and blessing. Now I'm going local. Living in the Tampa Bay area, we are spoiled for choice with beautiful locations that make for idyllic outdoor backdrops and afternoon light casts the most perfect natural filter. Bring your family and your pets too, let's get outdoors. At least in Tampa there is a breeze!
