When you’re selecting a new propeller, the goal is to choose one that allows the engine to be in the right Wide Open Throttle (WOT) range. For outboard motors, this is between 5000-5800 rpm, while sterndrives are in the range of 4400-4800 rpm. This info should be in your owner’s manual.
