2025 Lillypad Public Cruise Dates
Sunday, May 25 - August 31 (7:30 - 9:30 a.m.)
For over 50 years, the Syracuse/Wawasee Ministry Association has brought boat-in church service to Lake Wawasee. Guests can ride the Lillypad over to Oakwood Resort, boarding at 7:30 a.m., leaving at 7:45 a.m. SHARP!!, service from 8:30 a.m.-9 a.m. and returning to The Frog at 9:30 a.m. Weather pending on boat departures. This is free to the public, first come, first serve. Coffee, juice and pastries are provided.
Guests can also travel by boat, anchoring around the Oakwood beach, or visit Oakwood and bring a chair to sit on the beach.
Sunday, May 25 (1-3 p.m.)
It's the Wawasee 25, the second-most Memorial Day weekend lap taking place on Sunday, May 25. Guests can take a lap on Lake Wawasee, exploring some of its nearly 25 miles of shore. Passengers will be treated to our famous build-a-burger bar, brats with peppers and onions, baked beans, potato salad, and coleslaw. Cookies and brownies served for dessert. Iced tea, water, lemonade and coffee are included. Cash bar available for soft drinks, beer, wine and alcohol. Tickets are $25 per person, children 12 and under half price. The Lillypad will host a public cruise dinner. Guests can catch the gorgeous evenings on Lake Wawasee and enjoy bacon wrapped pork medallion, roast beef, baby baker potatoes, Antigua vegetables, salad, dinner roll and cheesecake for dessert. Thursday, July 3 (7 – 10 p.m.) Friends of Justin Yoder Cruise $30
Kick off the Fourth of July weekend in style with the annual booze cruise. DJ Ca$h Money plays all the best songs. Cash bar and appetizers available. Space is limited. Friday, July 4 (8 – 11 p.m.) DJ Beater's Uncle Sam Jam $25
One of our favorite house DJ's wants to start off the Fourth of July weekend in style, showcasing his music knowledge and ability to entertain all types of crowds. Saturday, July 5 (8 p.m. – 11:15 p.m.) Wawasee Fireworks Cruise $30
Lake Wawasee puts on one of the best fireworks show in the area, and Lillypad guests can experience it from the water. Join us for a quick trip around the lake with appetizers and a cash bar available, while we get in place to watch the 10 p.m. fireworks show. Brenspeed Cruise. It's fast and furious with our friends at Brenspeed and their customer appreciation cruise. Tacos and nachos, music and full-throttle fun for three hours on Lake Wawasee. Visit Brenspeed and become a customer for a chance to take a ride of a lifetime.
Sunday, July 27 (11 a.m. - 1 p.m.) Lillypad Public Cruise Lunch $25
Space is limited as the Fort Wayne Thunderbird Car Club shares space on the boat for an early lunch aboard the Lillypad. Our famous build-a-burger bar and grilled pork loins, potato salad, fruit salad and macaroni cheese are on the menu, with cookies and brownies for dessert. The Ambassadors to Lake Wawasee host a fund raiser to help support the many events Floatilla works on every year, from lake runs, fireworks, parades, and more, their efforts help improve the overall experience the lake can offer. Space fills up quickly, so reservations to this social mixer should be made soon.

The Wawasee Property Owners Association will hold a social mixer and dinner on the Lillypad. Meet and catch up with neighbors on the lake. Space fills up fast so get your reservations made soon. Thursday, Sept. 25 (1-3 p.m.) - Chautauqua-Wawasee Historical Cruise. $25
