Not a tiny house and not a modular home, but a project we believe in and are honored to be a part of.

This is the first of four “host cottages” we built designed by Lew Oliver, Inc. for God’s Home in Clarkesville, Georgia - providing a place for those serving the ministry.

God’s Home is a 200 acre Christian prayer sanctuary in the North Georgia mountains - a peaceful place to step away from everyday distractions and spend time with God through prayer, rest, and reflection.

They’ve already built a chapel, miles of prayer trails, and have been approved by the county for 3 additional host cottages and 35 prayer cottages to allow more visitors to come and spend time in solitude and renewal.

We believe in the heart behind this ministry and are grateful to help bring its vision to life. We’re excited to continue building alongside them and share more as this project unfolds.

🏡 A little tiny home field trip🌿

We had such a pleasure today welcoming the creative and curious kiddos of Wild + Free | Gwinnett County for a tour of our tiny home models!

We loved getting to show them around, explain how our homes are built, and answer all of their thoughtful questions. There’s something pretty special about seeing kids get excited about building, design, creativity, and thinking outside the box.

A big shoutout to Wild + Free | Gwinnett County for bringing this wonderful group out to visit us! If you’re a local homeschool family in the Gwinnett area, be sure to check out their group on Facebook and see what they’re all about. They open their group up to new members starting January 1st 📚

What exactly is a Park Model Home? 🏡

Think of a park model as the perfect middle ground between a tiny home and a traditional home.

Park models are typically 400 square feet or less and are built on a trailer-style chassis, making them technically classified as recreational vehicles. But once they’re placed on a property, they’re designed to feel much more like a home - with a full kitchen, bathroom, living space, bedroom, and often a loft or additional sleeping area.

Unlike an RV, a park model is generally meant to be placed in one location and enjoyed long-term, rather than regularly traveled with.

They can be a great option for:
• Downsizing and simpler living
• Vacation homes
• Lake or mountain retreats
• Tiny home communities
• Guest accommodations

We design our park models with the comfort, character, and thoughtful details of a traditional home - just in a beautifully smaller footprint. 🌿
