Great Information to know for traveling internationally!

If your U.S. passport is lost or stolen while you’re overseas, our consular teams around the world can help. Here’s what to do:
1️⃣ Stay calm. Our teams can help get you an emergency passport in order to return to the United States.
2️⃣ Contact the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate for help. Visit the U.S. Embassy website for the country you’re in to find their emergency contact info and/or their process for replacing a lost or stolen passport. You can also find this contact info at travel.state.gov/destination.
3️⃣ Apply for your emergency passport in person. Follow the instructions provided by the Embassy or Consulate regarding walk-in hours or scheduling an appointment as well as what to bring.
4️⃣ Apply for a full validity passport when you’re back in the United States. If you apply for the full-validity replacement passport within one year of the emergency passport being issued, it will be exchanged without any additional fees. Learn more at travel.state.gov/ReplaceLimitedPassport

Make sure you have your Real ID for domestic travel!

Reminder: Starting February 1, if you don’t have a REAL ID or acceptable form of ID (like a passport!) for domestic flights, you may pay a $45 fee to verify your identity through TSA ConfirmID. A passport card ($30) or passport book are both accepted REAL ID alternatives for domestic air travel and can help you avoid this fee, but just remember that a passport card cannot be used for international air travel (you'll need a passport book for that). Learn more about the Real ID policy at TSA.gov/real-id and about passport cards at travel.state.gov/passportcard.

I just returned from an amazing trip to Africa! Thank you A&R for the truly breathtaking experience! I went to Cape Town, South Africa, Zimbabwe to Hwange National Park and Victoria Falls, a brief trip to Zambia to see the other side of Victoria Falls and the to the Okavanga Delta in Botswana. The people were truly wonderful, the food was amazing and the animals and scenery were unbelievable!

Don’t let this common mistake ruin your vacation! Many countries require your passport to be valid for at least SIX MONTHS beyond your travel dates.
Always check the passport validity requirements for your destination at travel.state.gov/destination to avoid getting turned around at the airport.

Delta announced that starting April 8th,2025 for domestic flights, cut off time for checking baggage is now 45 minutes prior to fliggt departure.

Tour and dinner at the Marriott Omar Khayyam
The lobby and main area of the hotel is the original El Gezirah palace. The staff is amazing and the food has been outstanding!

Made it to Cairo!! Beautiful airport, we were met as we came down the escalator, our guide had our visas for us already and he wisked through customs to grab our luggage, which took longer than anything else. If we wouldn’t have had to wait for that we would have been out in under 20 minutes! Only 2.3 million people in the city. Traffic is insane!
We got checked into our hotel, had an Egyptian dinner with new friends. The food was so amazing!!
