Our second trip in May included a colorful cast of travelers headed to Luxembourg aboard Cargolux.

Wrapping up our April trips with another successful shipment aboard Cargolux.

The weather didn't make things easy, storms rolled in and conditions were less than ideal. All the horses involved handled the challenge like true professionals.

We've been a little behind on sharing some of the shipments we've handled over the past few months. As many of you know, global events have created significant challenges throughout the aviation industry, resulting in flight cancellations, schedule disruptions, and frequent route changes. Despite the obstacles, we have remained committed to finding solutions and keeping animals moving around the world.

Our featured shipment this morning was a special group of Highland Cattle destined for Saudi Arabia. This project required patience, flexibility, and a tremendous amount of coordination from everyone involved.

We would like to extend a special thank you to the Qatar Airways team for their assistance and willingness to make exceptions that allowed the cattle to travel on passenger flights, helping ensure a smooth and seamless journey to their final destination.

This shipment was originally scheduled to move during the first week of March, but due to the ever changing circumstances affecting international air transport, the cattle ultimately departed at the end of April. We are incredibly grateful to our customers, airline partners, handlers, and everyone behind the scenes who worked tirelessly to make this move a success.

Thank you to everyone who played a role in bringing this shipment across the finish line. Teamwork, persistence, and adaptability made all the difference.

Meeko the Frenchie is finally in Germany 🇩🇪✈️🐾

This journey has been a year in the making. Last fall, we bought his IATA compliant kennel so he could get used to sleeping in it. In January, he had his vaccine booster appointment, and we confirmed all the required paperwork the owner would need since his regular vet would not be issuing the health certificate. Then, last month, we began closely monitoring the weather, since snub nosed breeds must travel when temperatures are under 80°F. Because his owners are moving during peak Texas heat, we knew from day one that he would need to travel ahead of them. Every step was carefully planned with his safety and comfort in mind, but we also wanted to minimize the time he would be with his Aunt and Uncle in Germany waiting for the rest of his family to join him.

Of course, international travel doesn’t always go as planned. A last minute aircraft issue canceled his original flight last weekend. Thanks to experience, quick communication from Lufthansa, and staying close to the airport, we were able to adapt quickly, taking him home, reworking the plan, and keeping everything moving forward.

When rebooking, we faced additional challenges due to union strikes. This meant we had to pivot fast, as there were very few days when everything aligned: safe temperatures, a valid health certificate, and minimal risk of cancellations.

We owe a huge thank you to the incredible Lufthansa staff in Dallas. Their dedication to pet safety and their sense of urgency truly make a difference when navigating complex moves like this. They went above and beyond this past week to help secure a flight for yesterday, especially given the cooler weather window we needed.

Last week’s shipment to Luxembourg was quite the menagerie 🫏🐴

Despite the rainy weather and aircraft delays trying to slow us down, everything came together just as it should. Each passenger loaded safely, settled in, and made the journey across the Atlantic without a hitch.

Big thank you to everyone involved in making it a smooth loading from start to finish! 🌎✈️🌍

Another one from a horse shipment we had in March.

A little goodbye and final scratches before their journey begins 🐴✈️

In March we had a load of young Brahman cows who flew out of Miami going to Peru. ✈️

It’s been a little quiet on our page lately, so here’s a quick update.

Despite the ongoing tensions in the Middle East, only a small number of our flights have been affected. We know delays and changes can be stressful, and we truly appreciate the patience of our owners and agents. This situation is completely out of our control, but please know we are monitoring flights daily and adjusting as needed to keep everything moving as smoothly as possible.

On a brighter note, we’ve still been busy! Horses and cattle continue to travel regularly, especially on our European and South Ameruca routes.

With temperatures already starting to rise, we’ve also begun booking pet shipments for summer moves. We’re grateful to have a safe, temperature-conscious route out of Texas via Lufthansa that allows us to continue moving pets comfortably, even during the hotter months.

Thank you all for your continued trust and support, we couldn’t do this without you.
