Our on-site apiary is wonderfully taken care of by beekeepers/business owners of SweetNes Honey Apiaries & Beetique.

But wait, there’s more: The honey they collect from our own backyard will now be sold at our airport Cafe Market!

Stop by and support local by snagging some delicious raw honey. 🤗

Today, we welcomed the 2026 City of Sugar Land Summer Interns to the Sugar Land Regional Airport! 🛩

The interns got a behind-the-scenes look at airport operations while learning about our history, upcoming capital improvement projects, and exciting plans for the future.

Their visit included a tour of ATCT where Marcus Logan, one of our awesome air traffic controllers, shared insights into his profession, providing a firsthand glimpse into the world of air traffic control.

Before their departure, all received a copy of the airport’s children’s books as a special keepsake.

Every other month, the airport hosts Munchin' with Mitch, an employee engagement initiative named after our Director of Aviation, Mitch Davies.

The program brings each airport division together with the leadership team in a relaxed setting to encourage open dialogue, strengthen connections, and celebrate our workplace culture.

This past Monday, the FBO team enjoyed their turn, gathering over yummy food and drinks for a time filled with great conversation, plenty of laughs, and quality time with airport leadership. 🤗

It's a great time to review your preparedness checklist, refresh your supplies, and sign up for emergency notifications so you can stay up to date on evacuation notices, water contamination issues and other notices to keep you and your family safe.

Meet Armani - the unofficial (but very official to us!) face of the Sugar Land Regional Airport.

Armani joined the team in 2022, starting in Airport Operations before making his way to his current role of Line Crew Supervisor.

With his signature Colgate smile, Armani has welcomed thousands of guests to our sweet city, offering warm greetings and true Texas hospitality to travelers from around the world.

Not only is he an outstanding employee, but he’s also an incredible teammate. We’re grateful to have Armani as part of the KSGR family! 🛩️
