Secret Dreams Music & Arts Festival was pretty close to perfect. Camping was a very close walk, the pottys were clean 🥹, each stage presented great lighting and sound without being a far distance from each other, however still having their own unique feel. The grounds were creatively decorated and captivating. The musicians sounded incredible.
The artists were extremely talented and a pleasure to speak with. The tribe was filled with positive vibes and it was so difficult to end the weekend and say goodbye.
If you are looking for a very fun, creative, mind blowing music festival, I do recommend Secret Dreams at Legend Valley in Thornville Ohio.
If you have extra time try to visit Buckeye Lake, a 7 minute drive from the venue. Pyramid stones from the area were used 200 years ago to build a dam on the west side of the lake. An interesting fact, as well as a beautiful and serene feeling location. A great spot to enjoy the lake is Papa Boo’s, lakeside lunch and dinner. A super bonus: they have gluten free cauliflower pizza and an accommodative and friendly wait staff.

The blueberries for our Sunday morning treat came from my favorite Suffield Connecticut fruit farm, Kuras Berry Farms.
This years overflowing juicy pints are $4.50 each.

Treehouse Brewery in Massachusetts is a wonderful venue to see live music at two locations: Charlton and Deerfield.

Last night I enjoyed a very intimate Iron and Wine under a beautiful wooden pavilion. The show was timed perfectly for my eyes to admire a gorgeous sunset while watching the opener, Half Gringa.

Tickets to Treehouse concerts sell out quickly.

Treehouse is famously known for their delicious beer. The company began in a small red barn in Brimfield Massachusetts. Now you can visit 5 beautiful locations throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut. While beer conissoers have raved about the quality of Treehouse Brews since the first can released to the public, they have since created a distillery, offering mouth watering gluten free cocktails on ice or frozen. Kara and I enjoyed the Gin & Tonic with Lime and the Cape Codder. The cocktails were fruity, not sweet, sparkly and delicious.

BEST Sunset views in East Granby Connecticut - my favorite spots are at East Granby Farms on North Main St, Newgate Prison on Newgate Road and the hike to Peak Mountain which you can begin either at East Granby Farms or on the Corner of Newgate Rd and Turkey Hills Rd.
In these locations you will enjoy panoramic unobstructed views that are perfect for taking the best sunset photos.

Sunset : to me, it feels like the moment I’ve been waiting for all day. The pinks and purples draped against the endless blue sky. The clouds were perfect, I knew they would paint a beautiful picture for our eyes yesterday.
I saw her sitting, admiring, watching, waiting until the colors would fade into night. Her beauty and patience, along with the background of nature dancing like an ever changing movie was a photo I needed to take, for her. My heart felt happy, and hers will too, as she sees the memory of her moment with nature and the peace that we both shared under the colorful cloud light.
