I’ve spent the last few days in Cabo with about 30 travel suppliers and 40 travel advisors from all over the country! I met with suppliers representing Marriott, Westin, Hilton and IHG, learned about new properties coming up, and found a few options for clients that I can’t wait to share—think Jamaica and Cabo!
I also met a fantastic supplier for two great properties in St. Thomas! Between supplier meetings, I chatted with other advisors about where their clients have stayed and what their experiences were like. There’s always something useful to bring home from those conversations.
Our evenings included visits and dinner at Le Blanc and Nobu. Both were beautiful, and seeing them in person helped me get a feel for who would enjoy each property. Nobu caught my attention for golfers! It sits on the Pacific Ocean side of Cabo, rather than the Sea of Cortez, and we toured an oceanfront junior suite with its own private pool—one of only four on the property.
You’re trusting me to help choose where you’ll spend your vacation time and money. These trips give me a chance to walk through the hotels, see the rooms, ask suppliers questions, and compare experiences with other advisors. When we talk about your next trip, I have more to share than what’s on the hotel’s website—and I already had a few of you in mind while I was there!
