There’s something special about tools and materials finding their way to the right hands.
This past week, I was able to bring home a sewing machine, conchos, and a beautiful selection of veg tan leather—pieces that came from another leatherworker who had gathered more than he could use. Some of it I’ve admired for a long time… just never had the space or funds to take it all on before.
Now it’s here—and it’s going to good use.
Some of this leather will become saddles, built to fit both horse and rider the way they’re meant to. But another part of it is set aside for something just as important… **teaching.**
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with groups across Wisconsin—sharing hands-on leatherworking experiences that give people something real to create with their own two hands.
👉 Workshops are available for:
• Youth groups
• Homeschool groups
• Clubs & organizations
• Community programs
From small, close-knit groups of 5–10 to larger groups of 30+, each workshop is tailored to create a meaningful, hands-on experience. No fluff—just real tools, real leather, and real skills.
I’m currently booking workshops for summer and fall, so if this is something you’ve been considering for your group, now is a great time to reach out.
Because sometimes all it takes is a piece of leather and the right tools… to spark something that lasts a lifetime.
