On Friday, members of the Stover FFA Officer Team attended the LEAD Conference at SFCC. They learned team building skills, attended breakout sessions, networked with other chapter officers in our District, and got lots of ideas for the coming year. The LEAD Conference is facilitated by past State FFA Officers and is a great leadership experience.

On Tuesday, the FFA and FCCLA traveled to the Main Event in Independence for the Top Members Trip. They had a great time bowling, playing laser tag, in the arcade, and eating pizza.

Another successful MO FFA State Convention in the books! On Thursday, Gracie Dale and Hattie Marriott served as our voting delegates for the Business Session. On Friday several members attended the Career Show and attended the final session. During the final session Sadie James received her State FFA Degree. This is the highest degree an FFA member can receive at the state level. Proud of our members and the work they put in.

First Plant Sale of the year!!! We’re open from 3:30-5:30 today. We have bedding plants, hanging baskets, houseplants, and vegetables available.

District CDE Results

13 members competed on Tuesday at the Central District CDEs and 4 competed Thursday at the LDEs. None qualified for state this year but several came very close! Proud of these students and the hard work they put in!

Adrian CDE results from today. This was the biggest Career Development Event they’ve competed at this year with some events having over 30 teams from all over the state and KS. For some this was their first time at a CDE, proud of the effort they put into it! Several of our teams will compete at Districts next Tuesday.
