The Port of Stockton Police Department would like to extend a sincere thank you to the California Order of the Eastern Star and Brady’s K9 Fund for their generous donation of a ballistic vest for K9 Jade.
Brady’s K9 Fund is dedicated to protecting the working K9s who protect our communities by providing lightweight, mission-ready ballistic vests that can be worn throughout their shifts. This important piece of protective equipment provides Jade with added protection while she works alongside her handler and responds to potentially dangerous situations.
As an explosive detection K9, Jade may be called upon to work in environments where safety and protection are critical. Having properly fitted ballistic protection helps ensure that she is afforded the same consideration for officer safety as the human partners working beside her.
We are incredibly grateful to the California Order of the Eastern Star for supporting Brady’s K9 Fund and helping make Jade’s vest possible. Their generosity provides more than just a piece of equipment—it provides added protection for a valued member of our department and K9 team.
