Every year, the airport brings together staff, fire, police, and EMS to conduct a tabletop exercise. The tabletop exercise simulates an emergency scenario, and we use toy trucks and planes to talk through how we would respond and coordinate communications. Huge thanks to our local partners for joining us for this important exercise!

🚨 **Important Reminder for Travelers!** 🚨

Starting May 7th, 2025, you'll need a REAL ID or a passport to board all domestic flights in the United States.

Don't get caught unprepared- make sure your driver's license is updated to a REAL ID! In California, it usually takes several weeks to receive a REAL ID after applying at the DMV. You'll receive a temporary paper ID while waiting for the permanent card to arrive, but remember, the TSA requires your permanent REAL ID (not the temporary paper ID) to travel.

If you have travel plans already scheduled but don't have your REAL ID yet, be prepared for a lengthier screening process with TSA during this transition period.
