Rail Safety Month in action! 🚊

Regional partners joined Gold Runner at the Fresno Station to bring rail safety education directly to our community. Officials rode Gold Runner from Merced and Madera to Fresno, getting a firsthand look at rail safety along the corridor before reaching our event.

From learning about the dangers of trespassing to signing our rail safety action pledge, the event was all about helping everyone stay safe around the tracks.

San Francisco Connection Bus Stop Temporarily Relocated September 24 to October 1, 2026

Starting Thursday, September 24 through Thursday, October 1, 2026, Gold Runner's connecting bus stops in San Francisco will be temporarily relocated as of results to roadwork in the area.

The current bus stop located at 401 Mission Street will be temporarily relocated in front of the BMO Bank on 301 Mission Street until October 1, 2026, which is just on the other side of Fremont Street.

Last week, SJJPA and SJRRC joined regional leaders in Washington, D.C., for the San Joaquin Valley Regional Policy Council’s annual Valley Voice trip, advocating for regional priorities including passenger rail, transportation and air quality.

The trip highlighted the importance of ACE and Gold Runner, advanced passenger rail priorities, and strengthened partnerships with federal leaders.

Thank you to our federal representatives and their staff for taking the time to discuss the transportation needs of the communities we serve. 🚆

Rail safety is a community effort! 🚆 Join us and our local safety partners at the Fresno Station on Wednesday, September 30 at 12:30 pm as we spread the word about staying safe around tracks and crossings. 🛤️

Together, we’re raising awareness about the dangers of trespassing and train strikes and sharing simple ways to stay safe around tracks and crossings. 🛤️
