Duties/Responsibilities:
A. Safety
1. Responsibilities in this area are to comply with safety rules and to report any unsafe conditions to the production supervisor.
2. Qualify on the safe use of forklift, power, and manual pallet jacks; use of caution when driving/operating the power and manual equipment.
3. Pick up and dispose of any debris in the warehouse that you come across.

B. Productivity
1. Responsibilities in this area include:
a. Shipping/Receiving

Prepare all orders daily shipments. This includes, but is not limited to stretch wrapping pallets, placing pallet sheets, staging product, pulling LTL and UPS orders, and following rail, road, and LTL load guidelines.
Receive all incoming products. This includes, but is not limited to unloading product, checking quality, filling out the receiving freight log, completing quality control sheets, putting the product away in the proper location in the warehouse, etc.
Ensure that all outgoing orders and incoming materials are approved and signed off by the supervisor prior to running copies of paperwork for the trucker.
Keep all raw materials and finished products organized and safely stored in the proper warehouse locations.
Keep the warehouse neat, orderly, and clean which includes weekly sweeping.
Pull raw materials when needed for production.
After orders are shipped; attach all packing lists to the bill of ladings and turn into (including faxes) designated office personnel when the order is shipped or received.
b. Equipment: Inspect equipment during use and notify the production supervisor of any issues or defects. Equipment includes but is not limited to forklifts/battery care, pallet jacks, stretch wrappers, etc. including paperwork forms for tracking of maintenance.

c. Perform any other work-related tasks or projects requested by the supervisor or superior.

C. Quality
1. Ability to multi-task and perform the list of checks for product quality as defined by the standard operating procedures.
2. Ability to accurately take inventory of facility for all finished goods and raw materials through counts, weights, and measures.
a. Also has the skills to perform inventory reconciliation.
3. Always check for flaws in inbound raw materials. Walk around the pallets and visually inspect all the material. If any damage is present, then document it on the bill of lading before the delivering carrier leaves the warehouse. Identify the product received is the product on the paperwork.
4. Always check for flaws in outbound finished products. Walk around the pallets and visually inspect all the material. If any damage is present, then consult the supervisor on how to rectify the shipment before sending the product out. Defective finished products should never be loaded on a truck.

Requirements:
Basic math and counting skills, must pass a word math test by reading questions out loud to show reading and comprehension ability as well as showing methods for solving word problems.
Ability to think outside the box and be aware/ For an example of parts running low to trigger reorder points.
Ability to communicate effectively with people.

Responsible for the assistants & packers to ensure the proper number of units are packed in each case. The ideal candidate will have at least 3yrs experience operating and setting up machinery.

Responsibilities:
Operate Vertical Form & Fill Machine
Each operator is considered the team leader of their machine. They are to be aware of the level of efficiency and quality of their packers’ output
Maintain daily production standards and thoroughly complete production reports as required
Ensure standard operating procedures are being followed throughout
Keep the shift and/or facility supervisor or (machine technician) if applicable, informed of any problems or potential problems regarding machinery, inventory, and/or personnel
Able to execute daily and weekly P.M’s
Check the units produced from the machine at the weigh station to ensure they are both the proper weights and dimension. Document this by completing the “Quality Control Report.”

Stacker

· Shrink wrapping.

· Ability to consistently lift to an average box weight of up to 50 lbs. all day, every day and keeping up with line flow.

The Production Mechanic will oversee the performance and maintenance of production machinery.

Duties/ Responsibilities:
· Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.

· Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.

· Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.

· Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.

· Orders and installs replacement parts for machines.

· Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.

· Prepares reports documenting work performed.
