We had a great time celebrating Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Night at Banner Island Ballpark!

Our team connected with community members, shared information about RTD services, welcomed visitors aboard our Rainbow Battery Electric Bus, and handed out promotional items with our Wheel of Fun. We also enjoyed meeting local organizations, event performers, and many current and future riders throughout the evening.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and celebrate the rich cultures that make our community so vibrant. 💙🚌

Marketing Supervisor Max Cao met Kerry while riding Local Route 566 for the first time.

Kerry is a longtime Stockton resident, Army veteran, and has been riding RTD since 1975. At 78 years old, he still rides transit every day and believes the key to staying young is simple: stay active and keep moving. Walking daily continues to be an important part of his routine and outlook on life.

When asked what he likes about RTD, Kerry’s answer was simple and genuine: “It gets me there, and it’s comfortable.”

Riders like Kerry remind us that transit helps people stay connected, independent, and engaged with the community every day.

Thank you for your service, Kerry, and thank you for riding with RTD for more than 50 years.
