Great review from Annette... "I cannot say enough good thing about this company. I had to clean out my parent’s house in Crete. They had collected 52 years worth of stuff. I didn’t not know what to do with the items my family didn’t want. We had gotten their business card from a friend. I called and talked with them. The girls in the office were so sweet. Tim and some of the guys came out and took a look at everything. I set up a day and time for them to come out to start removing the unwanted items. I am so thankful that I heard about them and hired them. I really don’t what I would have done without them. They did a great job! I certainly will use them again."

Great review from Sharon... "These are one of the best. They respect your time and property. They are easy to deal with, you can't beat there prices in the far south suburbs. They don't run commercials all day and night and price reflect that. Great people to do business with. You can't go wrong booking with them. Great review from MC... "My gosh! Where do I start? I’ve been using De-Junk-it for over a year now. Started with emptying my beloved father’s packed and dirty basement of junk and collectibles! Then, they came back to haul out the garage and left it cleaner than I could have imagined. Now, I call them for any labor jobs as I TRUST them in my home and to handle my collectibles like a baby! They are always so friendly and happy to see me and the feeling is mutual. They ask about my family, projects and then get down to brass tacks! No messing around or fiddling on their phones!!! They work hard!
Maddy, Angel and Davian (sp? sorry!), are always 100% focused on me and the project! They are all impeccable PROFESSIONALS!!!
Rare today I’d say.
I can’t imagine using a mass national service again, that had hidden costs and sent unknown sub-contractors from who knows where! 🤦🏼‍♀️
De-Junk-It does background checks (I asked a millions questions), and is fully insured with workman’s comp. A very important thing to know in case a worker has an accident in your home.
Sadly, I learned the hard way with someone I found on Thumbtack, so I want all to know how important it is to choose the right company to allow in your home around your precious items.
The whole family at De-Junk-It is local (S. Side! 👊🏼), and several cuts above the rest. I use them for the smallest to larger projects while I rehab this old house in Homewood.
