At Houck Family Services, we are beginning this Monday with a grateful heart-thankful for our wonderful clients, their families and the incredible caregivers that make what we do possible.

Good afternoon everyone, I'm sitting at the office playing catch up (is that a thing ever lol) and I am reminded that what we do is about so much more than schedules, hours and daily tasks.

It's truly about people.

Each day is a day of sometimes challenges, sometimes complete chaos but always a reward... always.

We did...We do and we we will continue to.

People deserve to feel cared for, respected , valued and safe in the place they call home.

I'm always so grateful to both the clients and the staff....
It all comes down to people.

To the caregivers, thank you for showing up with patience, compassion and hearts in hand.
Sometimes, being someone's angel means sitting beside them, listening to their stories and making them smile.
To our clients, you are angels in our lives.... You welcome us into your homes, share your stories, teach us lessons and remind us daily why this work is so meaningful.

At Houck Family Services, we believe angels don't always have wings.
Sometimes, they carry a caregiver bag and sometimes they are the one being cared for.
We are so blessed to have so many angels in our midst.
