We’ve been hearing some rumors floating around that Captain Tommy’s Marine Service is closing… let’s clear that up right now, we are NOT going anywhere.

We are still here, still working, and still taking care of our customers.

Busy Season is Here:
As we head into our busiest time of year, we kindly ask for your patience with repair turnaround times. We are working as fast as we can to get everyone back on the water.

We do have availability for basic services right now, so don’t hesitate to reach out!

It’s busy season here at Captain Tommy’s Marine Service and we’re working hard to get everyone back on the water as fast as possible! We're currently booked out 2 weeks on repair jobs. We have a few diagnostic/ Service openings available. We wanted to remind everyone we will be closed on Friday, July 4th and Friday, July 11th. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support—it means the world to us. Without you, we couldn’t do what we love!

🎓 Congratulations to the Class of 2025! 🎉

A very special shout out to our own Senior, Wayne, on his graduation! 🎓 We couldn’t be prouder of you and all that you’ve achieved. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see all the great things you’ll do!

In observance of Memorial Day, we will be closed through Monday and will resume regular business hours on Tuesday.

Meet Wayne – Our Young Welder in Training!

Our youngest son Wayne is a high school senior currently dual-enrolled at Coastal Pines, working toward his welding certification. He has a passion for welding and hopes to specialize in marine-related projects like T-tops, trailer repairs, and more in the future.

Right now, Wayne is looking for small projects to help build his experience and invest in his own tools. He has a dedicated welding area set up in our shop, but space is limited, so he can only take on smaller jobs at this time. He works with most metals, except aluminum and stainless steel.

If you have a small project that could give him more hands-on practice, feel free to reach out. We’re proud of the hard work he’s putting in and excited to see him grow in his trade!

Spring is Here!

The first day of spring is here, and the weather is shaping up to be perfect for the weekend! We know everyone is eager to get back on the water, and we’re working as quickly as possible to get boats in and out.

Our schedule is filling up fast, so there may be a bit of a wait for incoming boats. If you need service, just reach out, and we’ll do our best to get you taken care of.

The weather has been great, and the fish are definitely biting! Our daughter weighed in a 44.42lb black drum for the Southeast Georgia Big Drum tournament this week. She's currently in 1st for the Junior Angler Girls—she was so excited, and we’re beyond proud. If you’ve been thinking about getting out on the water, now’s the time!

If your boat needs a little work before your next trip, Captain Tommy’s Marine Service can help. But for now, enjoy this beautiful weather and go catch something big!

The week is kicking off with some wet weather, but that’s not slowing us down! We’re here all week, normal hours, and ready to help with whatever you need.

We have some openings for service appointments this week, so if your boat needs some attention, give us a shout.

A heads-up for all the anglers out there—Friday is the last day to sign up for the local Black Drum Tournament! It kicks off March 1st, and you can get signed up over at Knuckleheads Bait Tackle. Don’t wait ‘til the last minute!

After some consideration, we’ve decided that golf cart sales weren’t the best fit for our business. We will no longer carry the Alset line.

Boat Owners – We have availability this week for services! If your boat needs maintenance or repairs, now’s a great time to schedule.
