Our Louisville, OH team recently came together for a quarterly site meeting and training at our Fresh Mark account to celebrate successes, align on second-quarter priorities, enjoy great food, and hand out prizes. We’re proud to recognize this local team for an outstanding 2026 so far — with zero DOT accidents, zero OSHA injuries, zero DOT HOS violations, and zero DOT unsafe driving violations. Great work to this amazing group for continuing to set the standard for safety and performance!

Hogan’s Dollar Tree Marengo team recently held their first Quarterly Site Meetings since launching the account earlier this year — and the turnout was outstanding!

With 25 of 28 drivers attending while still covering all scheduled loads on time, the team showed exactly what it means to balance safety, service, and operational excellence. The meetings focused on celebrating early wins, identifying opportunities for continued improvement, and recognizing the drivers who are helping build a strong foundation for this growing account.

In just three full months of operations, the Marengo team has achieved:
✅ 0 OSHA recordable injuries
✅ 0 maintenance violations
✅ 0 failed DOT inspections
✅ Continued customer confidence and fleet growth

A big thank you to the drivers, leadership team, safety department, and everyone supporting this account’s success. The customer is already looking to grow the fleet — a true reflection of the trust this team is building every day.

Wishing a happy retirement to Dave Stock after 33 years with Hogan! Over the course of his career, Dave worked his way up through the company to become Executive Vice President of Operations for Hogan Transports, leading with commitment, dedication, and a deep care for the business and the people around him.

Dave made a lasting impact on so many throughout the years, and he will be greatly missed by his coworkers. As he begins this next chapter, we’re excited for him to enjoy more time with family, travel, and life on the farm.

And of course, we can’t forget that along with Dave’s retirement, it sounds like “Smitti” may be retiring too. 😉

James Stuper has been living his childhood dream for decades, with 26 years of driving experience and 23 years at Hogan at Save A Lot Austinburg. Known for his hard work, reliability, and signature smile, James is a cornerstone of the Austinburg team. Off the road, he enjoys spending time with family, tinkering with his ’53 pickup, and traveling to new destinations, including Las Vegas and, someday, Egypt and Normandy.
