Hey, everybody! (And especially my fellow Democrats, North County people, my fellow St Charles Community College alums, and SCC faculty/staff)
I met two very impressive young men during the Democratic National Convention delegate selection process. I am happy to announce they were both selected to be delegates at the state convention two weeks ago.
I would have been so excited if I could attend the convention at their age. Heck, I would be excited now!
Excitement aside, it costs a lot of money for hotels, transportation, and meals to be a delegate. Their father sent this to me and ok'd me to share this on Facebook.
They are North Countians! They attended SCC (where they were active in Student Gov't Association)! They are Democrats!
If you can donate $10 or $25 (or more) so they can enjoy this once- in-a-lifetime experience, they will appreciate it and I will very much appreciate it.
