Response to Mayor Adams’ Opportunistic Push to Ban Horse Carriages

We strongly denounce Mayor Eric Adams’ latest attempt to exploit animal rights rhetoric during an election season. This is not about protecting New Yorkers or horses—it is a calculated, opportunistic move to gain political points while ignoring real corruption and mismanagement in his administration.

For generations, New Yorkers and visitors have cherished the sight of horses in Central Park. These animals are not abused—they are cared for by dedicated horsemen and women who provide them with food, shelter, veterinary care, and respect. They are working animals, part of our living traditions, and they coexist with us in one of the most iconic landmarks in the world.

The so-called “advocates” pushing this ban ignore the fact that many of these horses would lose their purpose, their livelihood, and even their well-being if stripped from the park. Instead of banning, we should invest in ensuring they are well cared for, protected from exploitation, and kept as part of New York’s cultural heritage.

This industry is not outdated—it is a reminder of our connection with animals, nature, and history. Destroying it in the name of “progress” is nothing more than empty symbolism.

If the City Council truly wants to act in the interest of New Yorkers, it should reject Adams’ opportunism, stand against political theater, and instead support policies that ensure the horses remain in Central Park under the highest standards of care.

We love our traditions, we love our horses, and we will not let corrupt politics erase them.

🚨 Justice for My Service Dogs 🚨
On July 29, 2022, my beloved service dogs — trained to help children with autism and people with disabilities — were seized by the NYPD and the ASPCA after false accusations fueled by Husky House of New Jersey.
Many of these dogs were killed while in their custody.
They were not just “property” — they were family, companions, and life-saving service animals.
I never surrendered them. I never authorized their adoption. I have fought in court for their return, but the legal system has made it nearly impossible to get justice quickly.
I am speaking out now because this cannot be ignored.
No agency or organization should be allowed to take healthy, loved animals, deprive them of their home, and end their lives — especially animals trained to serve vulnerable children.
I am demanding accountability from every person and organization involved, and I will not stop until the truth is known and justice is served.
If you believe in protecting service animals and stopping wrongful seizures, share this message. Your voice matters.

It takes a truly cruel person to lie to their followers, falsely accuse a professional dog trainer of abusing a dog he never even knew, and then use that fabricated story to collect thousands of dollars in donations.

While that person was manipulating social media, Victor Quinteros — Brand Development Director at Fashion Week Group and founder of the Siberian Husky Camp of America (non-profit) — was building a training center for huskies in New York.

Then, a sheriff with a questionable reputation fabricated a criminal case, lied to a judge, and used it to raid the property. 24 huskies were seized, and Victor was unjustly jailed for over a year.

The dogs — many of them luxury brand models, therapy companions, and championship sled dogs — were caged for months. Several died under ASPCA custody. Adding insult to injury, one of the stolen puppies was later named “Rescue Dog of the Year 2024” by the same organization accused of negligence and abuse.

Now, Quinteros has filed a $2 billion civil lawsuit seeking restitution, justice, and the return of his surviving dogs.

From his office at the One World Trade Center, where he manages global fashion campaigns, to the snowy fields where he trained his beloved huskies, Victor stands firm:

No more lies.
No more bullying.
Every single person involved in this smear campaign will be sued.
