Yesterday we offloaded our 88’ San Lorenzo off the transport ship in Sarnia, Ontario. We cleared customs and immigration with the vessel and crew. Then came over to Port Huron, Michigan and cleared customs and immigration. Tied her up and unpackaged the shipping protection of the exterior of the boat. Today we got off the dock at 6:30am and took her to her 11 hours to her slip for summer. She is ready for a Great Lake summer! This is my 8th time doing this with her although the first was taking her on her own bottom downbound via the St. Lawrence River and the rest were onto and off the transport ship for her passages up and down every season. Every time is different and I love getting to work with her every spring and fall including some times in between.

Little guy gave up and threw his arms up 😞 First time I’ve found a dead frog on a boat and he was in the fridge cooler at that. Poor little guy got locked in. prep for a 2 week trip utilizing all the coolers and fridge space.

Had the pleasure this month to come down to Florida to work hand in hand with a boat owner and to take his wife and him on an owners trip. 2 days of prep, 1 day of moving the boat down the ICW from Jupiter to Fort Lauderdale due to bad weather on the outside, 1 day in Fort Lauderdale, 2 days in Bimini, followed by 4 days in Miami then ran the outside back up to Jupiter. Total of 12 days. Lots to see and do everywhere including we took the Williams everywhere even down to Key Biscayne, the Miami River, and around Star Island to see the celebrity houses. Made the best of it around high winds and waves including maintence as we could. Here are some pics of some things we saw.
