Exciting news!

This time next week, Travel Gals Kelly and Haley will be attending th​e ALG Vacations​ Ascend Conference 2026​. It will be both of their first times attending Ascend, and we can’t wait for them to experience it​ 😍

They’ll be staying at Secrets Mirabel ​Cancun Resort & Spa while spending their time learning through workshops focused on destinations and growing their travel businesses. They’ll also have opportunities to connect with fellow travel advisors at industry networking events and meet with more than 100 suppliers during the supplier showcase.

We love opportunities like this that allow our Travel Gals to keep learning, make new connections, and bring fresh knowledge and ideas back to their clients.

Icelandair recently announced nonstop flights from St. Louis to Iceland starting May 14, 2027. Flights will operate throughout the summer and into October, making it even easier to join Travel Gal Haley for our October 8–14, 2027 Iceland adventure​.

Traveler Spotlight: A Smoky Mountains Adventure 🏔️

This summer, Travel Gal Haley had clients travel to Great Smoky Mountains National Park for a family adventure, and they came home with some great memories!

The trip included exploring the national park and getting out on the water for some white water rafting, which ended up being one of their favorite parts of the trip.

When Haley checked in with her clients after they returned home, one of them shared:

“The trip was great. We loved white water rafting. You made it so easy. I would have never been able to give my family this experience.”

This is one of the reasons Haley loves planning national park adventures. There are so many incredible experiences to have, and it’s always fun to help families put together a trip that gives them the chance to experience something new together​ ❤️

We love hearing when our travelers come home with memories they might not have been able to create on their own.

: Zoëtry Agua Punta Cana Edition 🇩🇴

During a recent familiarization trip, ​The Travel Gals had the opportunity to visit Zoëtry Agua Punta Cana, and there were a few things that really stood out to us!

Zoëtry Agua Punta Cana is a 92-suite boutique wellness resort that was recently renovated and reopened in November 2025. The lush grounds and smaller size give it a very different feel from some of the larger all-inclusive resorts in Punta Cana.

One of the things we really liked was the personal service. Every guest receives a personal concierge or butler for their entire stay, so there is someone there to help with the little details throughout your visit.

The resort also puts a big focus on wellness. Guests receive complimentary hydrotherapy access throughout their stay, along with a 20-minute massage per person, per room.

And if you want to get outside and enjoy the resort's beautiful surroundings, there is also a 45-minute horseback ride along the beach included 🐴

We could see Zoëtry Agua Punta Cana being a great fit for someone looking for a relaxing wellness getaway, but the intimate setting would also make it a lovely option for a romantic escape.

This is exactly why we love getting out there and experiencing these resorts for ourselves. It gives us a much better feel for the property and who is going to love it!

Giving back is always a good way to spend the day​ 😊

Several of the Travel Gals recently had the opportunity to volunteer in both Kansas City and St. Louis, and we had such a great time!

This volunteer event was sponsored by Collette, and we also had the pleasure of working alongside Haley Davis, our Business Development Manager for Collette. It was so much fun spending time with other travel advisors while giving back to a wonderful cause in our communities.

We’re grateful for opportunities like this that let us spend time together while doing something that makes a difference.
