Happy New Year everyone! Our social media activity was lacking over the holidays, but that doesn't mean we weren't moving cargo!

At VFS, we've built incredible relationships with our customers, and it all leads back to TRUST. We've proven to our customers over long periods of time that not only can we be trusted to haul their cargo safely and arrive on time, but to provide 24/7 clear communication throughout the process, and to utilize today's technology to optimize pricing and service.

248 years ago today, the United States Marine Corps was born. A group of men with rifles met at Tun Tavern in Philadelphia, PA to form a militia. (That's right, the USMC was born in a bar) They organized to fight the British in the Revolutionary War, but little did they know that they would give birth to the greatest fighting force the world has ever known. Since that day, Marines have been the first to respond to every conflict in our nation's history. They do more with less. They adapt and overcome. They face the worst of situations with irrational confidence, and they're strangely happy to do so. They love hard and fight even harder. If you know a Marine, don't forget to wish them a Happy Birthday today. They celebrate the Marine Corps birthday more than their own!

Although my time in the Corps is behind me, the Corps itself is still with me, and always will be. As they say, Once a Marine, Always a Marine. Semper Fi to my fellow Devil Dogs out there, I'll be raising a glass of bourbon for us tonight! Cheers ya filthy animals!

We've been lacking on social media posts as of late, but we're busy moving freight! Here we have four large generators that we moved from Dallas, TX to Miami, FL en route to El Salvador. They were delivered to MIA by TSA Approved drivers, and all four of them did an incredible job!

When disaster hits, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is there. They provide an incredible amount resources to aid in recovery from wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes, mudslides and many other disasters. It takes a vast network for FEMA to be successful, and truck drivers are a critical part of that network.

Valor Freight Solutions like to thank Shark Trucking for doing a wonderful job moving water tanks for a fire suppression system for FEMA. People in dire situations need FEMA's network to come through when it counts, and today we were a part of making it happen. Great job everyone!

Check this one out! Through all of 2023, VFS has been responsible for moving a real life version of Mario's plumbing van all over the country. Before tarping, we cover the van with a custom built car cover to ensure the paint isn't damaged. We've taken it to trade shows, conventions, and theme parks, and this thing sure is a conversation starter!

Thank you to all the drivers who mad sure this vehicle was transported safely and on time, and special thanks to Mike Williams for trusting us to handle such a cool vehicle!

Valor Freight Solutions is looking for a new team member! We need additional support for our current and growing book of business.

The ideal candidate would be an outgoing individual in search of a long-term career with unlimited upside.
One year of transportation/logistics/freight brokerage experience is preferred, but not necessary. We are interested in candidates who are ambitious, and are looking for an opportunity to apply that ambition.
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation to and from office
- Ability to work 40 + hours per week
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work well in a team setting with others
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
