OUR DREAM

NSA Dispatching was a dream that we never thought possible. Oddly enough, it starts with Buster Nichols, whose handle was “Grey Ghost.” He started his career driving dump trucks in the 1950’s. He needed to provide for his family and fell in love with the industry. Buster loved traveling all over the U.S. Below is a photo of his manual logbook from a trip he made to Texas in April of 1981. Little did he know that a love for trucking would find his son, Tim. Tim started working with heavy equipment but realized it would never compare to being on the open road like he had done with his father when he was a child. In 2006, Tim finally got to experience driving semis hauling heavy equipment all over the states. In the upcoming years, he shifted from hauling strictly heavy equipment, to owning a hotshot, to eventually buying his first semi-truck. Even though he was driving, it was such a headache working under others, and let’s face it, if you know Tim, he’s not the type to work under anyone. After years of hard work and dedication, Tim was finally able to become a co-owner of his own transportation company in 2014. Through all the years, Tim had been thinking of ideas on how to create a legacy for his children and grandchildren. Thinking back to the times he traveled and remembering the chaos of finding loads on top of everything else that comes with operating a truck, the idea came. An opportunity for his wife and children to potentially work from home yet somehow staying in the trucking industry that his father enjoyed so much. In 2023, NSA was born. Busters’ legacy is now being carried out by his daughter in law, Brenda, and granddaughters Misty and Taylor through dispatching for all kinds of trucks. NSA isn’t just another “dispatching service,” we’re a family and our goal is to make every carrier we dispatch feel included in it. Lets meet our Billing Manager Misty Snipes. Misty and her husband Jeff have 2 wonderful boys. Misty enjoys concerts and being outdoors with her family. Misty is the daughter of a trucker and familiar with how the trucking industry is run. She will be managing our day to day task of paperwork and making sure things run smoothly for our dispatchers.
