We are honored to be presented this certificate from Caliber K9 Solutions for being able to provide a safe area for the canines to train on occasion. The dog featured in this photo is Pyro, Clark County’s only EDD (Explosive Detection Dog) and he is quite incredible!

We are very grateful to have a relationship with these training organizations.

Runway 15-33 is closed, all surfaces, including 06-24 are covered in a quarter inch of snow. Check NOTAMs, be safe, and please let us know if you need anything! ❄️

Thanks to the efforts of our maintenance team, the airfield is back open, with the exception of Runway 15-33.

A reminder to check NOTAMs and let us know if you need any assistance.

Thanks!

Snow removal operations are still in full swing this morning, thanks to the industrious efforts of Grant and Charlie working to get this place up and running.

Runway 06-24 is 9,009 feet and 150 feet wide. Runway 15-33 is 5,498 feet and 100 feet wide.

We had approximately 12-14 inches of snowfall, and only have a two-man maintenance operation to get the whole airfield, taxiways, t-hangar ramp, and parking lots cleared.

We appreciate the dedication and long hours these two put in to make the airfield a priority and get it open for our customers.

Thank you!

Good morning, folks. With the severe winter weather and snow conditions continuing to worsen, we have decided to close the airport/runways for the time being. Please check NOTAMs, and let us know if you need assistance. Thank you!

NOTAM update: 1/2 inch wet snow on all surfaces, braking action fair/poor. We will continue to update everyone as the day progresses.

01/15/2026

Our maintenance team has been diligent with the latest snow report. Pilots be sure to check your NOTAMs. We will update again in the morning.

Rnwy 24-06 1/8 inch dry snow 60% Ficon 5-5
Rnwy 33-15 1/8 dry snow 60% Ficon 4-4

Stay warm and safe out there! ❄️

Santa flew in to visit with the kids at the airport yesterday, and we had such a wonderful turnout. We love getting to collaborate with the community and share aviation in such a unique way with the kids and their families.

Santa arrived in a 1930 D-25 New Standard biplane, owned and operated by Dewey Davenport with Goodfolk and O’Tymes Biplane Rides. The four passenger aircraft is known as the King of the Barnstormers and is an icon of the golden age of flying. Roughly 8 of these aircraft are still flying today, so it’s really quite exciting to have one in our own backyard.

The photos featured below were taken by Chris Andrew Photography with Warbird Mafia.

A special shout-out to Sweets Boutique Bakery for providing cider, hot chocolate, and s’more’s. Darlene Ford for the coloring activities, and Todd Powell for helping the kids make penny gliders. And one of our tenants, Dan Badger, even came out to offer airplane rides to kids.

Santa and Mrs. Claus are always wonderful! We really appreciate everyone who came out and supported the event! We’re very fortunate to have the aviation community that we do.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all
