We had the pleasure of creating a challenge coin holder for Dayle Durrer, daughter of Bill Durrer, the Fairfax County Police Department Chief from 1958-1975. She had this flag made for her son who is a Sergeant with the City of Fredericksburg PD.

Dayle, it was an absolute honor to work with you and learn so much about the service both your father and grandfather, Haywood Durrer, provided to Fairfax County. We hope your son loves this piece!

Every flag that Old Salt produces is special to us. We enjoy getting to know the customer, learning about them, building a relationship.

Today was an extra special day to us. Today we surprised my Grandfather, Colonel (RET.) Agamemnon Mourges (AKA Agie...AKA Bob) with a challenge coin holder.

We are a family that has a rich history of military and law enforcement service. We were able to collect a few challenge coins to jump start his collection thanks to Seth and my brother, PFPA K9 Sergeant Kyle Murdock. No better way to start your collection than with coins from your grandson and grandson in law.

Today was a good day.
