Team members took part in CEVO training today, practicing their ambulance-driving skills.

A major focus was backing safety and the importance of always using a spotter. Clear communication between the driver and spotter helps protect our team, our vehicles, and everyone around them. 🚑

D'Asia recently received a wonderful compliment from a patient who wanted to share her appreciation for the care she received during her transport to and from an urgent appointment.

During a stressful day with a thunderstorm and heavy rain, D'Asia helped ease her anxiety by staying calm, having a reassuring conversation, and making sure she felt comfortable throughout the ride. She was also recognized for her careful driving and attention to her patient's comfort, even putting on the radio so she had something familiar to listen to along the way.

Thank you, D'Asia, for going above and beyond and showing how much the little things can mean to the people we serve.

A big thank you to the Atrium at Cardinal Drive for thinking of EMS last week and hosting an EMS BBQ and Dementia Live training

We appreciate you taking the time to recognize EMS, provide a great meal, and offer such a valuable learning experience. Dementia Live was a great opportunity to better understand what our patients and their families may experience, and we are grateful for the chance to continue learning and growing.

Yesterday brought a busy day for our crews, so Operations Center Manager Heather traded her stationary office for a mobile office and joined BLS FCO Brie out in the field to help with calls.

We’re grateful for Heather, Brie, and all of our crews who stepped up throughout the day to help support each other and keep things moving. Thank you to everyone who was out there answering calls and providing care for our patients. ❤🚑
