Good Shepherd Transportation Good Shepherd Transportation provides wheelchair and ambulatory transport for those who need extra assistance.

Good Shepherd Transportation provides transportation over any distance for:
- Doctor/Dental Appointments
- Chemo/Radiation Appointments
- Dialysis Appointments
- Special events

When you choose us, you get:
- Reclining Wheelchairs
- Hydraulic Lift or ramps (all vans have wheelchair secured rider ports)
- Oxygen available
- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Good Shepherd Transportation is owned and operated by Chip and Lory Brown of Springdale. They also own Good Shepherd In-Home Senior Care, which has provided caregivers to hundreds of families in NWA since 2011.

With out Community Partners like Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital, our team at Good Shepherd In Home Senior Care and Good Shepherd Transportation would not be able to serve others with the level of relational, great quality care that we do!!

Good Shepherd In Home Care is looking for a Part-Time RN to join our homecare team!

This is a unique opportunity to use your nursing experience in a relationship-centered, non-medical home-care environment.
You'll spend your time helping make sure our clients are receiving the right care, supporting our caregivers, communicating with families, and helping our team provide the high level of care Good Shepherd is known for.

✨ What you'll do:
• Complete client assessments and follow-up visits
• Review and update care/service plans
• Support and educate caregivers
• Monitor client needs and changes in condition
• Conduct quality assurance/supervisory visits
• Help with caregiver training
• Follow up on falls, incidents, and client concerns
• Communicate with families and healthcare professionals when appropriate
• Serve as a nursing resource for our caregivers and office team

💙 What we're looking for:
• Current Arkansas RN license
• Someone who genuinely enjoys working with seniors
• Excellent communication and observation skills
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently
• Home care, geriatrics, dementia, long-term care, or home-health experience is a plus
• Reliable transportation.

🚗 Mileage reimbursement for required client-to-client travel.

⏰ Part-time + flexible scheduling

This position is perfect for a nurse who wants to continue making a difference without the demands of a traditional nursing schedule.

Alzheimer’s may change someone’s cognitive function however the disease will never diminish the value and dignity of each person we serve.

🚑 LESS THAN 30 SECONDS.

Yesterday, August 9, 2026, two members of the Good Shepherd Medical Transport team, EMT Jay Arrington and EVO Brandon Bowers, were pulling into Arby’s to enjoy a quick lunch when they witnessed a vehicle accident on Joyce Boulevard.

They immediately stopped and responded to the scene to provide assistance.

At first, the SUV that had collided with the retaining wall appeared to be the priority. But within moments, the situation changed when they noticed the blue vehicle involved in the crash beginning to smoke.

Jay and Brandon quickly assessed the situation and helped both passengers out of the vehicle at 11:54:17 AM.

Just 31 seconds later, at 11:54:48 AM, the vehicle was completely engulfed in flames. 🔥

Less than 30 seconds.

This is exactly why training, preparedness, and the ability to recognize a rapidly changing situation matter. Jay and Brandon didn't hesitate. They saw a need, responded, and helped get two people to safety.

While our specialty is BLS ambulance services, and the majority of the calls we run are non-emergency transports, Good Shepherd Medical Transport is licensed and trained to respond to emergencies when needed.

We are incredibly proud of Jay and Brandon for their quick thinking, professionalism, and willingness to step in when they were needed most. 👏

A special shoutout to the incredibly fast response from Fayetteville Arkansas Police Department, Central EMS, and Fayetteville Arkansas Fire Departmentt. It takes everyone working together to make a difference in moments like this.
