The Terranea Story

It all began because of my love for travel. I remember that winter break traveling from Houston to NYC to attend the National Convention of a Christian Youth Organization, I was 11 years old traveling without my parents.

Without even knowing, my sense of adventure was about to begin. I wanted to experience all those places on the map, traveling would become a classroom for me. I am a native Houstonian that came from a family involved in the energy sector, I was the only one who changed the direction and focused on Tourism.

My professional Hotel career began in Houston in 1984 as International Sales in some of the most prestigious hotels of our city. I also represented the Houston Convention & Visitors Bureau as the International Convention & Tourism Marketing Manager.

After 35 years of working the tourism industry, the question has always been why doesn’t Houston have a Receptive Operator. In 2017 we decided to launch Terranea Inbound Travel to meet the needs of the Domestic-International Traveler.
